A variety of photography holidays are on offer to suit different budgets, from low cost camping to luxurious private lodge safaris. However, all the photography safaris are run in small groups (four to six people) with specialised guides and photographic vehicles (where necessary), so that budding wildlife photographers all have the benefit of excellent game viewing opportunities and landscape photographers get to the best locations in ideal lighting conditions.
In all cases photographers have access to expert personal tuition and photography feedback sessions.
I work with specialist and highly experienced tour operators, guides and ground staff to bring you the very best photography safari holiday experience.
The photography safari was a wonderful experience, something unique! We got up early to leave the camp at 6 in the morning, to get the correct light. The guide took us to destinations where the animals usually roamed, and if they were not in the vicinity we drove around looking for other animals. In the Kruger we were bound to find something interesting! This we did. It was thrilling to find lions feeding on buffaloes, giraffes amongst the trees and other buck grazing in the veld. When we retired at night the guide spoiled us with a lovely three course meal! One night I heard an animal sniffing around our tent, it was quite scary! The next morning the guide told us that it was a honey badger! Do yourself a favour and join one of these fantastic safaris! You will never regret it!
