City of London Architecture Photography Day, led by Adriaan van Heerden.
This full day (afternoon and evening) photography experience is all about having fun and exploring the wonderful architecture on offer in the City of London, as well as capturing some amazing evening cityscapes.
We will start the workshop by considering different approaches to architectural photography and some of the key camera settings to consider to make striking images. We will then have fun putting our learning into practice around the City in the afternoon before heading over to the Southbank for some evening photography. We will stop for dinner at the Royal Festival Hall (not included in the price) where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences and results with your fellow enthusiasts.
We will start off at Liverpool Street Station at 12:30 and aim to finish at around 19:30 in the Waterloo area.
There is no need to buy equipment especially for the workshop, just bring what you have. However, if you have a tripod, a macro lens and/or filters then bring those along if you can. We will be doing a fair bit of walking so come prepared with comfortable shoes and waterproof clothing.
Please contact Adriaan to arrange a mutually agreeable date for the experience.

- “I went with Adriaan to London in August this year. I have not been into London for quite a few years and the change in the London skyline was remarkable — I was really glad that I had Adriaan to show me around. Architectural photography has always interested me but has never been my strong point but with Adriaan’s guidance I came home feeling that I had learned so much and have some lovely images to prove it. I can strongly recommend Adriaan’s workshop for anyone wanting to learn about how to take good architectural photographs.” Jenny Stillwell, Johannesburg
