Photographic Safaris to the Kruger National Park in 2012

I will be running a couple of photographic safaris to the Kruger National Park in South Africa this year: a camping safari from 13-16 August and a large camp-based safari from 1-10 September. The Kruger has 147 species of mammal (including the Big Five) and 507 species of bird – more than any other African game reserve – and for both safaris we will be using a special photographic-friendly vehicle (pictured on this page). You will also benefit from qualified guides and I will be on hand for photographic help and advice, should you need it. There will be opportunities to take part in photo feedback sessions to further improve your photography.

13-16 August

A truly magical experience, you don't get much closer to nature than camping in Kruger. Full details are in the safari leaflet. The camping site we are going to is well placed for spotting birds, hippos, crocodiles and big cats (lions and leopards). The cost is £600 per person, which includes transfers to and from Hazyview, the closest airport to the campsite (international flights are not included but can be arranged at extra cost). This is a very special price which will only be available on this trip.

1-10 September

On this safari we will visit three fantastic camps: Berg-en-Dal, Satara and Letaba. The cost is £2,950 per person sharing a twin room, all inclusive (single supplements are available at £270 per person). For detailed information on what is included and a detailed itinerary, please download the leaflet.

Give me a call if you have any questions, or call Terry on 01904 619428 to book. Places are limited to seven people per trip so please book early to avoid disappointment.
